STILL SEARCHING

I'm not one of those people who loses sight of what I want and I never forget to keep focused on reality but sometimes I feel as if I know exactly what it is that I want and I work hard to attain that one thing only to find out that the end result really wasn't what I expected it to be. I've attained so much in this past year but still I've lost so much more. My mistake was holding on to the past and that which I have lost because that prevented me from growing. I'm happy with the level of success that I've attained and the direction that I'm moving towards the future. I am stronger thanks to all of the obstacles that I've had to face and the challenges from people who decided to change course on the journey that we were suppose to take together. I promise I will never give up and I will never forget the past but I won't live there and be stuck reminiscing. Every time I felt like giving up there was always something greater forcing me to hold on. My future looks bright, The present is great because I have life and the past is what made today that much better. Forward is the only direction right now.
